Philanthropy in The Vines at V. Sattui Winery Is Demonstrating Commitment to Sustainability
Philanthropy in The Vines at V. Sattui Winery Is Demonstrating Commitment to Sustainability through a generous donation to Napa Valley Grapegrowers.
V. Sattui Winery is a beloved and renowned name in the world of winemaking. And, they’re honored to announce its unwavering commitment to sustainability and community support, through its recent donation of $10,000, to the Napa Valley Grapegrowers.
I’m very impressed by the V. Sattui Company. When I was at their sister company Castello di Amarosa, their safety officer Jim Sullivan, (Vice President PR & Marketing) immediately jumped on an opportunity I had to offer. That was to have one of Ron Rubin’s TRAINED FOR SAVING LIVES automatic external defibrillators (AEDs). It such a hard sell to most people. It takes a special kind of person to see his or her face light up at the prospect of a safety device. Many people are focused on life, and don’t ever want to think about the dangerous side of it. That said, Jim is educated, enthusiastic, and fully engaged in life, as an enthusiastic bicyclist. He just understood and made my heart sing. And, he will save a heart, if and/or should anyone at the winery should need an AED, due to heart attack or cardiac arrest.
Dario Sattui is the owner of both wine companies: V. Sattui and Castello di Amarosa. So, it’s my pleasure to present both Napa Valley wineries to you. They are places you should consider in your travels to Napa Valley, and delight in their wines. Knowing the integrity of its ownership and the people in his employ, it’s a great visit for any of you.
