2021 Kirkland Signature Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon
It’s always an exciting day when the latest vintage of the Kirkland Oakville Cab hits stores, and we’ll tell you right off the bat, this is a vintage not to be missed.
Despite all the inflationary pressures out there, the price on this wine remains $19.99, which is absolutely amazing for an Oakville wine, and for one of this caliber.
Looking at our reviews all the way back to the 2013 vintage, you see a string of 90+ points, making this one of our most consistent, and highest rated Kirkland wines in the entire portfolio.

And we’re going to break some new ground this year, reaching our highest score ever for this bottle, and that’s in large part to the amazing and long lasting finish.
Our tasting notes are similar in many ways to years past. It pours a dark ruby in the glass with earthy aromas and dark fruit; in the mouth this is a full bodied wine, with fantastic dark fruit flavor, some black cherry, blackberry, plum with notes of vanilla and spice towards the finish.
And then the finish that really grabs you and holds on. That’s our favorite part of what is our favorite vintage of this great wine.
Don’t wait to buy these in bulk if this is your style of wine. We have a feeling these are going to move fast once word gets out. Cheers, and thank you Costco.
