- 2019 Condado de Haza Crianza (Ribera del Duero): Thick, chocolaty, spicy, bold, and a powerhouse of flavor for the money. $25 A-
- 2018 Domaines Barons de Rothschild ‘Aussieres’ Rouge (IGP Pays d’Oc): Abundantly fruity, elegant, savory, and earthy. The south (of France) has risen! $21 B+
- 2020 Bonny Doon Vineyard Vin Gris de Cigare Rose (California): A tasty, energetic and refined crowd-pleaser. $15 B
- 2016 Metz Road Riverview Vineyard Chardonnay (Monterey): Not the freshest vintage, but it’s in fantastic, voluptuous shape right now. $30 B+
- 2019 Priest Ranch Sauvignon Blanc (Napa Valley): Big. And tropical. And big. And tasty. And big. $25 B+
- 2018 Frog’s Leap Estate Grown Cabernet Sauvignon (Rutherford): Leaping out of the glass with dusty herbs and delicious cassis action. $68 A-
- 2019 Quivira Vineyards Anderson Ranch Zinfandel (Dry Creek Valley): Kicking butt big time with those refined (and spicy!!) red and black fruits. $50 A-
- 2020 Sokol Blosser Pinot Gris (Willamette Valley): Tropical, lively, lovely, and elegant. $25 B+
- 2021 Scenic Valley Farms Pinot Gris (Willamette Valley): The skin contact here is no skin off this delectable PG’s back. $21 B+
- NV Domaine Bousquet Methode Traditionnelle Brut Rose (Tupungato): Perky! And almost aggressively sp in its red apple fruits. $18 B+
